System Login

Kodbox firmware supports the following login methods:

  1. Serial Login: After logging in via the serial port, use the ifconfig command to find the IP address (HOST_IP).
  2. SSH Login: SSH service starts automatically after flashing. Log in using the command ssh root@HOST_IP.

The password for the root user is: bianbu.

Clients

Kodbox supports the following clients/apps:

  • Web: Accessible via a web browser.
  • PC: Available for Windows and Mac.
  • Mobile: Available for Android and iOS.
  • Third-Party Tools: WebDAV.

Client links can be found at Kodbox Clients/Apps.

Web Login

The IP address HOST_IP obtained from the Kodbox device is the server site. After retrieving the IP address via the serial port, open a web browser on a PC (ensure it is on the same local network as the Kodbox device) and enter http://HOST_IP to access the Kodbox service. Initial login will require configuration.
